DESCRIPTION:
The BF-1284 Series USB to Parallel Converter adds a Parallel port to your computer.
It plugs into the USB connector on your computer, or a USB Hub. The unit is available
with a 36-pin Centronics connector that will plug directly into a parallel printer,
or a 25-pin connector for connecting to Printer. The converter is powered from
the USB port.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
The BF-1284 Converter can be used to connect a parallel Printer to a computer
via its USB port. The 25-pin version can be used to connect Printers. The computer
must be an IBM PC/AT compatible running the Windows® 98, ME, XP or 2000 operating
system. The computer must have the proper USB connectors installed. The converter
represents a simple way to install additional parallel ports on a PC without
having to worry about the availability of Interrupt Requests (IRQs).
